The Story of Us

I've always loved reading ever since I was a child, to the extent that I rarely went anywhere without a book. It became a joke amongst my family that I prefer books over people, so much so that my parents used to hide books from me during school holidays to stop me from devouring them all in a few days and having to buy me more. Outside of BestieBoox I'm a scientist and a dog mum to a pup named Roscoe. I love dancing and it has always been my way of relaxing outside of a book. I'd always dreamed of one day following my heart and starting a business but it wasn't until fate stepped in and I found my best friend that it started to became a reality and the beginning of an era! 💕

I love to travel, to sing and to dance with my favourite people to celebrate life. When it's raining outside, I love nothing more than to curl up with a blanket and a book! As a kid I would constantly be hiding under a blanket until 1am with my little torch because a story had captivated me and I simply could not stop. Somewhere between growing up and all the responsibilities that adult life throws at you, I lost sight of my love for reading. Finding it again felt like healing the little girl who used to disappear into a book for hours. I had always dreamed of building my own little business, there were plenty of ideas that never made it out of my notes app. When I met Lou everything just clicked and it felt like the moment I had been waiting for, like it was meant to be.
